What is Medicare Advantage?  Medicare Advantage, or Part C of Medicare, is a different way to get your Medicare Benefits.  When you join a Medicare Advantage plan you do not lose Medicare, however your coverage comes from a private insurance company that has been approved by Medicare.  Medicare Advantage plans are required to cover all of the benefits under Part A and Part B of Original Medicare and many include Part D prescription drug coverage.  An important benefit offered by all Medicare Advantage programs is an annual maximum out of pocket protection that is not available with Original Medicare.  Some plans may even offer additional benefits such as vision, dental and transportation to and from medical appointments.

There are some important factors to consider when choosing a Medicare Advantage plan.  Each one of our experienced  representatives are licensed, trained and certified to assist you in selecting the plan that works the best for you.  Don’t delay – enrollment into a Medicare Advantage Plan is usually limited to the annual enrollment period (AEP) unless you are eligible for a special enrollment period (SEP.)  Contact us today to find out more about the plans available in your area.
